How the Accumulator Calculator Works

An accumulator combines two or more selections into a single bet. Instead of treating each selection separately, their decimal odds are multiplied together to produce one combined price. The potential return is then calculated from that combined price and your stake.

What Is an Accumulator Bet?

An accumulator, also known as a parlay, links several selections in one bet. Every selection normally needs to win for the accumulator to win, subject to the bookmaker's rules for void or cancelled selections.

How Are Accumulator Odds Calculated?

With decimal odds, multiply the odds for every selection. For example, selections priced at 1.80, 2.10 and 1.65 produce combined odds of 6.237, displayed as 6.24 in the calculator.

How Does Adding a Selection Change the Return?

Each new selection multiplies the current accumulator price. Two selections at 1.80 and 2.10 produce combined odds of 3.78. Adding a third selection at 1.65 increases the combined odds to 6.24. The running payout shown beside every selection makes this change easy to see.

How Is the Potential Payout Calculated?

Potential payout equals your stake multiplied by the combined accumulator odds. A $100 stake at combined odds of 6.237 would return $623.70 if every selection wins. Potential profit is the payout minus your original stake, or $523.70 in this example.

Why Do Accumulators Carry More Risk?

Higher combined odds come with a lower chance of every selection winning together. Adding another selection can increase the possible return, but it also adds another result that must go your way. The calculator shows this trade-off by updating the combined odds and potential return after every selection.
