tabseN and company have not appeared on the tier-one scene this year, but their season has still been excellent. Across 12 tournaments, the German lineup finished below fourth place only once and won four titles. Now xenn’s team needs to transfer that level of play to the highest tier. They are also playing at home, which gives them a slight edge over some of their competitors.

BIG usually use Overpass as their first pick, with a 43% pick rate and a 70% win rate across 20 games. Overall, though, every map except Anubis has been used as a first pick over the past three months. Their bans have also been flexible, as all seven maps have been removed at least once in that span. Their best map by win rate is Inferno, where they have won 86% of seven games.

Liquid Reached the Major Through Roster Maneuvering

Liquid still have not found their footing. Even on the tier-two scene, the five-man roster did not win a title, with their best result being fourth place at the HyperX Roman Imperium Cup VI. At top-tier events, they have not reached the top eight since the first tournament of the year, BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1. To make it to Cologne, they had to complete a trade with G2, bringing in malbsMd, which moved them into the American ranking system, where the level of competition is much lower.

Liquid like to play Mirage, with a 41% pick rate and a 56% win rate across nine games. Ancient is their main alternative, with an 18% pick rate and a 29% win rate across 14 games. Inferno also looks dangerous for them, where they have a 50% win rate across 10 games. Overpass, however, is expected to be banned.

Main Pick: Liquid are in very poor form right now. They have won only two of their last nine matches. They have still been taking maps, but the overall numbers are telling. This BO1 matchup also brings a very uncomfortable opponent. Liquid are likely to ban BIG’s instant pick, but Mirage and Inferno, the strongest maps for EliGE and company, are also xenn’s team’s best maps by win rate. We will go with BIG to win at 1.70.

Additional Bet: Still, we do not expect a completely easy win for the Germans. Liquid often push maps over the total, but their main issue comes in the closing stages. Over their last nine maps, they reached the 22nd round seven times. Over the past three months, they have averaged 8.24 rounds on losing maps. BIG’s numbers are strong, but they were built against lower-level opposition. With that in mind, we suggest considering over 21.5 rounds on any map at 1.92.

Correct Score Prediction: The veto will most likely lead us to Mirage or Inferno. On those maps, BIG have allowed 7.33 and 8 rounds, respectively, in their wins.
